Countertops at BLOOM
For some reason Blogger isn't letting me post a link to this fabulous website! So, here's the address so you can do some fancy right clicking, copying and pasting! Got it? Meg called us while she was in the early planning stages of her new store. She wanted new countertops that were unique and beautiful! She needed an island top/work area as well as a sales counter. Well, she was thrilled with the outcome! Thanks so much Meg for trusting us with color and basic style.. we love that YOU love the countertops. Head over to BLOOM and check them out yourself - as well as some other Prairie Barnwood goodies!

Planters at Bloom
Who else is WAITING for spring? No one? Just me? We started making and designing these beauties last summer and they were quite popular - especially by my wife! They come in all kinds of shapes and sizes (tall square pillar type, shallow planter-type boxes, tapered square etc.) the sky is the limit! I can't wait (well, my wife can't wait) to see fresh blooming flowers on our front porch again this summer. That, combined with the rustic barnwood look will surely brighten up any front yard! If you want an idea of what they look like head on over and visit Janzen's Paint and Decorating (they have two HUUUUGE ones) or visit Meg over at Bloom!

Dining Room Suite
Arriving at this house by myself it was pretty clear that I wouldn't be able to carry this table inside alone (even though the table DOES come off of the base). So, I enlisted the owner to help me! Poor, poor guy! These table are SO HEAVY!! They are - as our slogan says - BUILT TO LAST!!! Thanks for your help. This wonderful couple also bought a coffee table for their cottage.. however after 'storing' it in their living room until they actually GET to the cottage the coffee table had apparently found a new home - it wasn't going ANYWHERE!! What a wonderful family - we zipped into Winnipeg on Christmas Eve to drop off the leaf for their table and we were greeted at the door by their two boys who gave us a Christmas picture and a bag of homemade chocolate treats! They are thrilled with their new table, and let me tell you, the treats were awesome! Thanks boys! :)

Cottage in Lac Du Bonnet
A customer from Winnipeg contacted us about her new cottage in Lac du Bonnet. She was very excited about finding someone who could build barnwood furniture locally!! Our first trip to the cottage we delivered two benches, a dining room table and a very unique and rustic fireplace mantel.
On our second trip we delivered a custom hand rail, wainscotting for the backside of her kitchen peninsula, coffee table, end table and two head and foot boards.
On the third day of Christmas.. oh, wait wrong song! On the third trip up to Lac du Bonnet we brought with us three night stands, a bunkbed and a barnwood closet door.
Whew! Designing and building each of these pieces was amazing! It is so great when a customer trusts you to do what you do.
